Tonight I was listening to some of these songs. They are amateur singers but have amazing lyrics....

Reflections...

As I listened to one of the videos R@J had shared, I started to reflect and draw parallels to my life. Letting Go... This is not easy. It takes some crucial life's experiences and a whole lot of conscious effort to let go. I think age and the maturity that comes with age also helps a little in rationalizing the reasons and the need to let go. Looking back to my 20s, I would have never ever understood this concept. I had such a hard time accepting the reality of the situation and letting go. I caused a lot of pain to many people around me at that time because of that. Fast forward to now, I realize the importance of letting go to find peace. I can't believe I am trying to practice that in my life with people, food, habits. Introspection and strong urge to prioritize what is important to stay calm and peaceful helps me in finding the strength I need to let go and remain unaffected. Letting Go

In one of our endless and timeless chats, Sweety told me, "It's hard to deal with family, especially when they’re all old and complain a lot :)" My immediate response was, "As we age, our opinions become more rigid. Letting go is the only way out." As I thought more about it, a question arose: " Do we truly understand what letting go means? And what is its purpose? Acceptance: It’s about accepting things and circumstances as they are, including those you cannot control. It’s not about changing or fixing them, but acknowledging and embracing them. 3. Forgiveness: Letting go often requires forgiveness — whether of yourself or oth...

How may Soulmates can a person have?

Sweety shared a link about soulmates , and as I read it, a fundamental question emerged: "How many soulmates can a person have?" Maybe I'm over-idealistic, but when I think of soulmates, I imagine having a partner who embodies the roles of a friend, philosopher, guide, and lover. It’s a truly rare and beautiful connection — one where both individuals can be vulnerable, grow together, and support each other in all aspects of life. When all these qualities exist within one person, the bond becomes incredibly strong, resilient, and enriching. A friend in a partner means having someone to laugh with, share your joys and sorrows, and rely on for emotional support. A philosopher brings depth to the relationship, offering wisdom and the ability to engage in meaningful conversations that challenge and inspire personal growth. A guide helps you navigate through life’s uncertainties, offering direction and encouragement during tough times. A lover connects you on an intimate level,...
