It is TRUMP V/S the Networks.
US elections are less than 10 days away, and misinformation is at its best. CNN, Washinton Post, and ABC News lead the misinformation campaign. There seem to be many reasons to believe that the media unfairly targets him. News channels only create echo chambers where individuals consume information that reinforces their beliefs. These echo chambers only amplify biased narratives and deepen divisions.
Major issues that seem to matter this election
- Economy and Inflation: Democrats have badly handled inflation, job growth, wages, and overall economic stability. Candidates' plans for managing the economy will be a crucial factor.
- Immigration: Democrats have encouraged illegal immigration, Policies regarding border security, immigration reform, and the treatment of migrants are critical issues, especially in states with significant immigrant populations.
- Education: Topics like school funding, curriculum content (including debates over critical race theory), and student debt will resonate with many voters, especially parents. I personally loved Vivek Ramaswamy's views on school funding.
- Political Polarization and Trust in Institutions: Concerns about the integrity of elections, democracy, and political polarization are likely to be front and center.
- Foreign Policy: With ongoing global tensions, particularly regarding Russia, China, and Ukraine, voters may be interested in candidates' foreign policy approaches.
- Transgenderism - LGBTQ, Schools encouraging kids to make gender choices without parents consent. States such as CA, NY, MA, IL have passed laws to support students in expressing their gender identity without needing parental consent. Local jurisdictions in these states have implemented policies to fund or cover gender-affirming surgeries and related healthcare. Taxpayer money is spent on these surgeries.
