Gaza in Stone Age - What next ?

While in the middle of Israel-Palestine conflict, it's easy to become engrossed in the immediate challenges at hand and lose sight of the broader perspective. Much like in our personal lives, where intense focus on a singular issue can inadvertently lead to burning bridges leaving little or no scope for restoring the status quo, the current state of affairs in the region requires a thoughtful reexamination of long-term strategies.

The Danger of Short-Term Solutions: While military interventions and bombing Gaza back to the Stone Age may address immediate threats, a sustainable resolution requires some strategic thinking. It should transcend beyond the immediate response to provocations. Hopefully, Israel's leadership understands that - more bombing, more human suffering, more the number of videos, more jihadi literature, more crowdfunding, and more madrasas across the world use these to radicalize Muslims. Hope Israel has a plan for Hamas whose leadership is based in Qatar. Eliminating their leaders along with dismantling the conditions that allow radicalization is essential for any permanent solution.

At the end of the day, leaders always live in plush comfy homes, be it ISIS, Taliban or Hamas. Hypocrisy is at its best, when the leader's kids drive the most expensive cars, enjoy life abroad, and study in the most expensive schools but the expectations of the people are to live in poverty, keep throwing stones at the armed forces, and the occasional grenade and then get shot.

Additionally, the Iranian threat which funds the terrorist groups needs to be addressed. Unfortunately, the current US leadership lacks the spine to address the root cause, Iran. So we need to see what strategy Israel has for Iran. Any direct conflict between Iran and Israel has the potential to start World War 3.  One thing has emerged from all this, Both Hamas and Israel make Russia and Putin look extremely humane and considerate.
